PROMETHEUS - 2022

Art Direction & Environment Design for SOCIETHY.

Led by a passion for philosophy and blockchain technology, the founders endeavoured to rewrite Plato's Myth of Prometheus. They created a story of deep inspiration from names and issues of the original myth and merged it through today's environment and cultural issues.

Their idea was ambitious, disrupting two prolific sectors: The entertainment industry (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) and the rising metaverse industry. The myth served as the container to create a season of 10 episodes, and the unfolding story of these episodes would infuse our virtual world, creating a symbiosis between both products. In addition, NFTs served as tools for the community to interact with our story, allowing a beneficial feedback loop to influence our Metaverse and series: A digital world led by democracy.

PUMA CHROMA - 2019

Visual Merchandising Competition for Puma.

In 2019, Puma challenged UAL's fashion business school students in a competition. Our course aimed to develop a temporary installation for the 12/14-year-old demographic. As a result, I came up with an innovative retail corner in JD Sports on Oxford Street. The installation aimed at delivering an interactive and hypnotic journey to young consumers and their parents. I achieved such an effect by blending the past and future of video games in a neon-chromatic environment, attracting both generations.

As one goes through the exhibit, the consumer is welcome to personalise their sneakers with various chromatic textures, while others can play on the arcade machine. The straightforward and innovative concept helped cut the costs of production and installation. The Puma design team welcomed my strategic report and final design idea, placing me second in this competition. The proposed timeframe was realistic, the campaign visuals aligned with their aesthetics, and the blend between retro and future was seamless.
